CSR

 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a management approach through which a company achieves a balance among economic, environmental, and social requirements, while simultaneously meeting stakeholder expectations. Simply put, CSR enables companies to ensure profitability for both the organization and society as a whole. This distinguishes CSR from charitable efforts, which often involve financial support or philanthropy. While a company’s charitable policies may indeed play a significant role in reducing poverty and can directly enhance its reputation and strengthen its brand, the scope of CSR clearly extends beyond these actions. The most successful organizations in terms of CSR have approached it not as an extra or separate operation, but as an integral part of their business. They have embedded CSR initiatives into their daily activities, aligning them with the core operations of the company to create strategic cohesion.
